Create your ENSAIT candidate account
To take the ENSAIT initial training exam, you must create an ENSAIT candidate account.
This account will allow you to :
- follow the progress of your file,
- know your eligibility,
- reserve a time slot for the oral exams,
- see your results online.
When you create your ENSAIT candidate account, you will receive a confirmation e-mail with your access codes (remember to check your spam folder).
Constitution of the selection file
The selection file is only available digitally via the candidate account the entrance exam for the ENSAIT engineering program.
You must complete all the information requested. Some necessary supporting documents must be uploaded:
- certificate of census,
- certificate of pupil of the Nation giving right to the exemption of the registration fees to the competition,
- certificate of scholarships entitling the applicant to exemption from registration fees for the competition,
- transcripts of grades from post-baccalaureate studies (required),
- notice of continuation of studies from the person in charge of the course (if already available before the closing date of the selection file). A model of the notice of continuation of studies is available on the candidate account.
- CV and letter of motivation from the candidate (required).
The registration fee (application fee) of a total amount of 25 € is to be paid via the candidate account. If you are unable to pay the registration fee online, please contact the competition department as soon as possible. The ENSAIT competitive examination service cannot issue a certificate of payment, nor refund all or part of the registration fee.
The constitution and modification of the selection file is possible until March 15, 2023 14H00. From March 15, 2022 2:00 pm, any incomplete file and/or unpaid registration fee will result in the de facto cancellation of the application for the ENSAIT engineering entrance exam.
Following the evaluation of the applications by the ENSAIT engineering entrance exam jury, the selected candidates will be informed by e-mail by March 20, 2023 at the latest to take the oral exams.
The choice of the date of the oral tests and the invitation to attend are obtained via the candidate account.
2. Oral tests between March 22 and March 29, 2023
The oral test is held remotely by video conference. All technical details for the videoconference are indicated on the invitation.
The oral test is a motivation interview in French and English. A mark, set by the ENSAIT engineering entrance exam jury, is eliminatory for the oral test.
Candidates are strongly advised to prepare for the interview by researching the school and the world of the textile industry. Part of the interview is conducted in English. Candidates must express themselves in correct English and in an appropriate style.
3. Integration
The certificate of master diploma or equivalence must be deposited at the time of your registration at ENSAIT.
Candidates are called in order of ranking. Candidates must respond to the call as soon as possible (end of calls on July 16):
- DEFINITIVE YES: the candidate definitively accepts his/her integration to ENSAIT
- REFUSAL: the candidate definitively refuses his/her integration to ENSAIT
If there is no answer to the call, the candidate will be considered as having resigned.
Candidates who are studying abroad or who hold a diploma from a foreign institution and who have responded favorably to the call will be taken care of by ENSAIT’s international relations department (sending the letter of invitation, following up on the visa application).
Candidates who have been accepted must come to the school on the first day of the academic year. Otherwise, the candidate will be considered as having resigned.
4. Tuition fees

Non-French speaking students

Non-French-speaking international applicants must submit their application to join the ENSAIT engineering program on the n+i platform.
